Mrs Muna Ajadi
BSc (Hons) Psychology, PGCE (UK Schools Teaching Certificate), M.Ed. (Distinction) Educational Leadership
Mrs Muna Ajadi is a British Muslim "Professional International Homeschool Coach" and the visionary behind Tawakkul Education.
Together with her husband, Mrs Muna has alhamdolillah, so far, successfully homeschooled 6 of her 8 children to adulthood, university, marriage and parenthood. Her children have memorised Quran, are bilingual/ trilingual; and have attended the University of London, Heriot Watt University and City University. One of her children even became the first homeschooler in the UAE to enter a British University in Dubai, at just 16 years old, and graduate with a First Class Honors Degree in Engineering in 2019.
Mrs Muna graduated from three UK universities whilst homeschooling and classroom teaching. Her 30 year teaching career began in the UK. She then moved to Kuwait to teach in a bi-lingual school there. Eventually she found her calling in the UAE, where she has spent two decades teaching in classrooms, private tuition and homeschool students. With a strong connection to the UK and UAE, Mrs Muna purchased and managed a successful British Education Institute and British English Nursery both in the UAE.
Mrs Muna now coaches Muslim homeschool families internationally, creates personalised curriculum and enjoys teaching from Reception to Year 11.
Our Mission
To build a global standard of homeschooling that empowers Muslim families in the Middle East and beyond — where children grow in academic excellence and Islamic identity; and mothers feel confident, connected, and capable in their role as educators.
We envision a world where Muslim expat families no longer feel torn between local schooling systems (that don’t align with their values) and Western curricula that neglect our faith. We believe every family deserves a path that nurtures both the intellect and the soul — without compromise.
Our Mission
Our mission is to guide and support Muslim families in their educational choices for their children— especially expats living in the Gulf and wider Middle East.
We provide structured, yet flexible, British-based English academic programs for children and mentoring/ coaching for parents, tailored to the lifestyle and challenges of Islamic family life abroad, so your family can thrive in deen and dunya, no matter where you are in the world, in sha Allah.
"Miss Muna at Tawakkul Education is an exceptional Jolly Phonics tutor with 30 years of homeschooling experience and a mother of 8, she brings unmatched wisdom, patience, and insight. Her deep understanding of child psychology and strong Islamic values make her teaching both effective and heart-centered. A truly inspiring educator!
What truly sets her apart is how she weaves Islamic principles into her teaching—instilling adab (manners), empathy, and gratitude alongside phonics. It’s incredibly reassuring as a parent to know that our child is learning to read in a way that aligns with our values.
We’ve seen noticeable progress in both reading skills and confidence, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking an educator who teaches with knowledge, compassion, and integrity."
